On 10th April 2010, Ping Yi Marching Band took part in the SYF Central Judging of Display Bands.
It was the first time the venue for the competition changed to the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
It was a totally new experience for them.
The band received help from other CCA's to help them.
The Modern Dance members formed most of the Colourguard section while the Angklung Members formed the Pit Percussion.
They did something different for that year.
They did a themed show entitled "Les Miserables".
They even featured two dancers, Adrian & Si Yuan,(Colourguards) who are lovers in the storyline, a trumpet soloist, Tan Jian Hao, a horn soloist, Jane Tan, & a euphonium soloist, Syuhada.
Under the direction of Mr Kenrick Poh, Mr Felix Yap and the countless help from the alumni, they managed to clinch a Gold Medal.
After 21 years, they have finally managed to get back the Gold Medal, alone.

They had also called for volunteers from other CCA's to help them make the numbers.
That was also the first time they opened up a new section, the 'ColourGuard' Section.
They even had a trumpet soloist, Nassriq, for the song Malaguena.
Under the direction of Mr Kenrick Poh and the countless help from the alumni, they managed to clinch a Silver Medal.

On the 22nd April 2006, TITANS yet again competed in the Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging of Display Band and managed to maintain a Gold Medal.
They were overjoyed and happy that we did not let history repeat itself.
Thanks to the guidance of Mr Kenrick Poh and the undying spirit of the alumni, we made it through!
That year, they played the songs, 'Fiera Winds, Malaguena, Firebird Suite, Pilatus, Pirates of the Caribbean, Lets Get the Party Started and Riverdance Finale'.
That year, the band also did a gimmick taken from the Drum Corp in US called 'The Cavaliers' and then modified by the TITANS.
That gimmick had made the crowd roared!

On the 17th of April 2004, the combined band of Springfield and Ping Yi Secondary School took part in the Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging of Display Band 2004.
To our delight, we clinched a Gold medal back and was able to participate in the finals which will take place on the 3rd of July.
We worked very hard since last November.
Several camps were organized to push us towards the mighty gold medal.
All thanks to our powerful conductor, Mr. Kenrick Poh!
Throughout the competition, there were many obstacles which we in the very end, overcame them.
That year's competition display included many popular pieces, such as "I will Survive", "Prince of Egypt", "Phantom of the Opera" etc.
We were indeed very fortunate to have Mr. Poh and our dearest seniors to be by our side throughout this whole ordeal.

The TITANS took part in the Singapore Youth festival 2002 and again under the guidance of Mr. Ong Tee Hoe and Ms. Sia Swee Suan, we managed to achieve a Silver.
